We are taught to push through when we encounter challenges, keep going, do not take time to think or feel or grieve the loss of change. Yet that approach robs us of the miracle of our emotions: the fun ones, the messy ones, the downright painful ones. All of those emotions make up who we are; we cannot hope to feel only joy but never pain. When the urge comes to just push through, stop, breathe, & feel the emotion that wishes to emerge. Then push on, clear & free.
