We sometimes make spiritual practice into something more difficult or cumbersome than it has to be. We don't need elaborate rituals to connect to spirit. Gardening, taking a walk, noticing the flowers, holding your sweetheart's hand, lovingly preparing a meal can all be forms of spiritual practice if done with mindfulness & presence. Soak in every detail if what you're doing. No distractions. Just breathe in the peace, light, & love that comes with a mindful connection to spirit.
