We're often told that forgiveness is the key to emotional freedom. Yet so many times it's too difficult or painful to forgive someone who has hurt us deeply. Perhaps then, we can find closure and peace for ourselves if we connect with that part of someone that is good and kind and would never knowingly hurt us and offer our forgiveness there. And in doing so, we may realize that we have that part inside us as well.
