You're always receiving guidance from your surroundings, as well as from inside, from that often quiet inner voice. Reminiscing can be fun & healthy at times, but spending too much time wishing for the way things used to be pulls you out of the reality of your life as it is right now. Now is the only moment you have. Don't wish it away.
There is a difference between being controlling & being in control. When we try to orchestrate events, situations, & the actions of other people in order to meet our own needs, we are controlling. However, when we take responsibility for our own thoughts & actions, and how these affect the events & situations around us, we are in control. Being in control rather than controlling is more empowering & results in more personal satisfaction. How can you shift from controlling to in control today?
